Hodge pessary

The Hodge pessary is only used in cases with stress incontinence, if ring pessaries are not tolerated because of anatomical aberrations frequently caused by previous surgery.
Our Hodge pessary consists of silicone with a half-stiff aluminium filing allowing for various shaping and adapting to individual circumstances.
Sizes : The Hodge pessary is characterized by the ring shaped diameter. Sizes range from 55 to 95 mm diameter in 5 mm increments.
The final shape is about 10 mm longer than the diameter.
Club pessary

The club pessary is indicated in patients with severe prolapse of vagina and uterus in cases where conventional pessaries do not sustain the pressure and where a cube pessary might increase stress incontinence.
The stem avoids gliding of the upper lying bowl. Before inserting the pessary in severe prolapse, the prolapsed organs have to be reposed. The content of the hernia should be examined. If other organs are contained in the prolapse, they should be carefully replaced.

Sizes :
The club pessary is measured by the circumference of the bowl's diameter. The sizes range from 50 to 90 mm in 5 mm increments.
The pessary with the smallest diameter that supports the prolapse should be prescribed.
Vaginal expander

Vaginal expanders are indicated in patients to expand the vagina for such indications as malformations, obstructions due to scars, after episiotomies or vaginal operations. The vaginal expander consists of a flexible silicone. Like all silicone pessaries they are elastic and can thus be inserted without pain.
Sizes :
- Small: 26 mm diameter / 127 mm length
- Medium: 30 mm diameter / 112 mm length
- Large: 37 mm diameter / 137 mm length
